Usuia “Ia” Nevile-Walker was born on August 13th, 1978 in Kailua, Hawaii to Keresoma Leau Nevile and Siaganuu Tinoisamoa-Nevile. She was the fourth of seven children. She was raised in Olosega, Manu’a. In 1992 she moved to California. During her younger years, she attended Olosega Elementary School and graduated from North Hollywood High School.
In 1996, she met her soulmate, Morgan Walker. On July 21st, 1997, they were blessed with their firstborn son, Brandon. Six years later, on November 21st, 2003, they were blessed with their one and only daughter Mia. On September 19th, 2008, Morgan and Ia married and became Husband and Wife. On April 4th, 2009, they were blessed with their baby boy Jaycen. On January 23rd, 2014, Morgan and Ia became grandparents to Tamali’i whom they extended their love to help raise. In July 2019, the Walker Family relocated from Los Angeles, California to Lancaster, California.
Ia loved to experiment in the kitchen. Her cooking and baking brought family together. She was a woman of all trades. There was nothing she could not do or figure out. She was selfless and always willing to help. She was strong, passionate and courageous. Ia made her family her highest priority. Her greatest joy was being a Wife, Mother and Grandmother.
Ia was blessed with a large family who loved her dearly. She leaves behind to cherish her memories: Her Husband, Morgan Walker. Her Children: Brandon Walker, Mia Walker, and Jaycen Walker. Her Grandson Tamali’i Walker. Her parents, Keresoma Leau Nevile and Siaganuu Tinoisamoa-Nevile. Her siblings: Alfred Nevile (preceded in death), Keresoma Jr. Nevile (Cindy), Walter Nevile (Christina), Rose Nevile-Taase (Si’itupe), Tu’uga Nevile-Fui (Mike), Tamatupu Nevile and Samantha Finau.
