Theresa Simien

Theresa Simien was born November 2nd, 1927, in Lake Charles Louisiana to Henry and Fabiola Baker. She was the youngest of eight children.

She married Joseph Simien in 1945. With their only daughter at the time Dianna, they moved to Los Angeles California. There, three more children were born. Joanne, Joseph Jr., and Irma. As a family, they were devoted to Saint Leo's Catholic Church and later Ascension Catholic Church. In 1993 Theresa and Joseph moved to Palmdale, California. After working many years in management, Theresa enjoyed her retirement as a wonderful homemaker and she was a gracious caregiver for her husband.

Theresa is survived by her three children Dianna Bracamontes, Joanne Diaz, and Irma Martinez, Two sons-in-law, Ronnie Martinez and Ray Bracamontes, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Theresa was preceded by her husband Joseph Simien and son Joseph Simien Jr., her parents, Henry and Fabiola Baker, four brothers, Henry Jr., Fabio, Anthony, and Earl Baker, three sisters, Beatrice Manning, Anita, and Irma Baker.
