Weaver, Robert R.
Robert “PawPaw” passed away on July 4th, 2021, at the age of 82. He was surrounded by his family as he peacefully left this earth, at his home in Lancaster, CA. His home has been the Antelope Valley for the last 50 years. He retired from Northrop Grumman in the late 1990’s then being the man he was who couldn’t sit still he went to work for a security company and worked for them until he retired in 2009, or as he says forced to retire, and he served in the United States Airforce from 1956 to 1976.
Robert was born in Michigan in 1939 to Harold and Mamie Weaver. He is survived by the love of his life Deloris, his children Debra, Connie, Russell and Catherine, his grandchildren, Jackie, Sara, Robert (U.S. Airforce), Amanda and Nathen (U.S. Airforce) and his great grandchildren Jesse (U.S. Navy), Dylan, Savannah, Scarlet and Alice.
Robert is loved by his family as well as his friends and church family. He was member of Lancaster Baptist Church since 1991. He loved to play with his metal detector and was a member of the Antelope Valley Treasure Hunter’s Society. His greatest joy in life was his family and he enjoyed being the family content creator always taking video and photos to document our families’ memories.
Services will be held at his home church Lancaster Baptist Church on July 23, 2021, at 9:30am followed by Military Interment at Bakersfield National Cemetery 30338 E Bear Mountain Blvd. ARVIN, CA.
