Pastor Raymundo B Mondok, a beloved member of the Antelope Valley community, passed away suddenly on May 16, 2023 after living a life full of laughter and love. He was born in Guam on October 3, 1951, and moved to the Antelope Valley in 1967. He married Mary Connally on June 24, 1978, and went to work at a variety of jobs to support his family. He worked for SoCal Edison for 30 years, garnering a plethora of stories, many friends, and retired.

Ray Mondok was an ardent member in the community, ushering at Sacred Heart Church in Lancaster, coaching AYSO Soccer in Quartz Hill region 638, and was an active 4th Degree Knight for the Knights of Columbus, Council 2455, volunteering to support bingo nights, and in so doing made many more friends. He supported several local community
theater groups, sharing his ability to make friends wherever he went, and lit up a room with his infectious laughter, witticisms, and stories.

Ray went to be with the Lord Our Saviour joining his parents, Esperanza B Mondok-Doll, Pastor Dacio Mondok, and his grandson, James B Mondok. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary, his siblings Emilio, Nestor, and Arlene, their families, and children Reynaldo, Nathaniel, Christopher, Kimberly, and Michael Mondok, their families, and seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to AYSO,, to whom Ray dedicated many years to help all children find a love of soccer or Palmdale Repertory Theatre, via paypal, because Ray loved watching his wife light up the stage. He will be truly missed.
