MICHAEL MCCONNELL

Micheal A. McConnell 85, of Lancaster, CA passed away Friday, December 8, 2023. Mike was born on September 29, 1938 to Raymond & Della McConnell in Sacramento, CA.



He graduated from UC Berkeley, becoming a dentist. Upon graduation, he joined the USAF, retiring as a LT. Colonel, and was also a Reserve Deputy Sheriff. Mike loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and camping in and around Bishop, CA.



He leaves behind his wife, Mary McConnell, 3 children Dr.Jim (September) McConnell DDS,

Marcia (Bill) Meader, John McConnell, extended family members, Monica (Mike) Young, Paul (Laura) Fernandez and Daniel Fernandez as well as 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.



Mass will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 at St. Junipero Serra Church in Lancaster, CA at 10 am. Graveside service will be held Friday, January 13, 2024 at East Line Street Cemetery in Bishop,CA at 1:00 pm.



In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations to the Alzheimer's Association in Mike's name.
