Obituary of Linda L.ee McKay

Linda passed away at home in Palmdale, CA on June 10, 2021 from dementia. Linda was a long-time Antelope Valley resident and was retired from the Lancaster School District. She was a past Treasurer and Youth Group Director at First Lutheran Church. She was born in Highland Park, Michigan on June 9, 1948 to Vernon Lawrence Hodges and Palma Irene Hodges. Linda was preceded in death by both her father and mother as well as her beloved husband of 48 years Lonnie McKay. She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Ross and Laura Goodwin, Son-In-Law, Bob Ross, five grandchildren, Ashley, Christian and Nicole Ross and Tyler and Savannah Goodwin, her step-father Donald Hanson and her cousins Ted and Tim Hart. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 17, 2021, at First Lutheran Church, 38343 N. 15th Street East, Palmdale, CA 93550, Rev. Wayne Anderson presiding. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made to First Lutheran Church, for the Linda McKay Memorial Fund.
