KENNETH WARD

Kenneth Charles Ward, aka Kenny or KC, was born on August 21st, 1938 in Riverside, California, and passed away on October 22, 2019 due to heart complications. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather. Ken was saved as a teenager in Kingman Arizona and a member of Lancaster Baptist Church since 1994. Kenny came to Littlerock with family to work in the peach orchards when he met and fell in love with Ida. They were married the following year in January of 1957 and celebrated 62 years together this past year. Ken was a farmer, heavy equipment operator, small business owner and a truck driver. In 1964 they purchased their first house in Lancaster where they raised their family and still lived today. Ken was preceded in death by his mother and father Bertha & Cecil Ward, his son Joey Ward, brothers Dale, Donald, Joseph as well as his sister Lois. He is survived by his wife Ida Ward, sister Linda, son and daughter-in-law Steve and Deana Ward, daughter and son-in-law Rachel and TJ Trani and daughter Kimberly. Grandchildren Michael Ward (Rebecca), Morgan Lane (Eric), Colton Trani, Sara Belbeck, Nathan Belbeck, Samantha Van Sambeek, and Tabitha Van Sambeek. Great grandchildren Peyton, Madison, Ava, Mackenzie, Charlie, Brady, and Cayden. Services will be held at 11 AM on November 8th, 2019 at Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster.
