Juan Lozano Perez, a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, 75 years of age, passed away peacefully on Friday September 3, 2021, at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, CA. Juan was born in Yahualica, Jalisco, Mexico on June 9, 1946 to Juan Perez Cervantes and Maria Irene Lozano As a young boy, the family moved to Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico where he lived until he was a young adult.

He emigrated from Mexico to the United States in 1971 where he met his loving wife, Ana “Ruby” Peña, and were married on October 31, 1976. They raised two wonderful sons, Fernando and Rodolfo. He worked for the Los Angeles Athletic Club for 22 years, holding various positions throughout his time there and then switched careers and worked as a machinist for Klune Industries for 18 years. His love for both is native and adopted county was great and in 1995 he proudly became a U.S. citizen. He happily retired in 2010.

Juan had a passion for traveling, gardening, tinkering with cars, reading and all things soccer, especially for his favorite Mexican team, Las Chivas of Guadalajara. You could always find him in the front yard, watering and tending to the flowers, plants and fruit trees, in the garage with the door wide open, working on his car while listening to his favorite rancheras, or chatting with the neighbors whenever they passed by. He was a simple, no-fuss man and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He was a big fan of In-N-Out and when he got the chance, he would invite friends and family to his favorite Chinese restaurant, Great Wall. He was known for his warm generosity and kindness, jovial laughter, strength and his love and devotion to both his immediate and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father Juan, his mother Irene and his Alberto brother and nephew José Juan. He is survived by his wife Ana, his son Fernando and his wife Claudia, his son Rodolfo, his three grandchildren, Jennifer, Joseph and Jessica, his three brothers, David, José and Raúl, his sister Josephina, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, too many to mention but not forgotten.

The viewing service will be held at Halley-Olsen-Murphy located at 44831 N. Cedar Ave., Lancaster, CA 93534 on Tuesday September 14 from 4:00-8:00PM with a rosary beginning at 6:00PM. The funeral mass will be held the following morning 10:00AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church located at 1600 E. Ave R-4, Palmdale, CA 93550.

Juan Lozano Pérez, un amado hijo, hermano, esposo, padre, abuelo y tío, de 75 años de edad, falleció pacíficamente el viernes 3 de septiembre de 2021 en el Antelope Valley Hospital en Lancaster, CA. Juan nació en Yahualica, Jalisco, México el 9 de junio de 1946 de Juan Pérez Cervantes y María Irene Lozano. Cuando era niño, la familia se mudó a Navojoa, Sonora, México, donde vivió hasta que fue un adulto joven.

Emigró de México a los Estados Unidos en 1971 donde conoció a su amada esposa, Ana “Ruby” Peña, y se casaron el 31 de octubre de 1976. Criaron dos maravillosos hijos, Fernando y Rodolfo. Trabajó para el Los Angeles Athletic Club durante 22 años, ocupó varios puestos a lo largo de su tiempo allí y luego cambió de carrera y trabajó como maquinista para Klune Industries durante 18 años. Su amor por los condados nativos y adoptados fue grandioso y en 1995 se convirtió con orgullo en ciudadano estadounidense. Se jubiló felizmente en 2010.

Era conocido por su cálida generosidad y amabilidad, su risa jovial, su fuerza y su amor y devoción por su familia inmediata y extendida.

Le precedieron en la muerte su padre Juan, su madre Irene, su hermano Alberto y su sobrino José Juan. Le sobreviven su esposa Ana, su hijo Fernando y su esposa Claudia, su hijo Rodolfo, sus tres nietos, Jennifer, Joseph y Jessica, sus tres hermanos, David, José y Raúl, su hermana Josephina, y muchos primos, sobrinas, sobrinos y amigos, demasiados para mencionarlos pero no olvidarlos.

El servicio de visualización se llevará a cabo en Halley-Olsen-Murphy ubicado en 44831 N. Cedar Ave., Lancaster, CA 93534 el martes 14 Sa de septiembre de 4: 00-8: 00 PM con un rosario a partir de las 6:00 PM. La misa funeral se llevará a cabo la mañana siguiente a las 10:00 a. M.
