~ John Ramon Wallace joined his father in the presence of the Lord on November 20th, 2023, after living a full and healthy life.
John was born to Connie and Frederick Wallace on September 28th,1956, in San Bernardino, California. Born with Down Syndrome, John lived every day defying expectations and soaring through life.
Strength, courage, and grit run through the Wallace Family bloodline, and John was no exception. John won 1st Place in the 50-meter dash at the 1977 Special Olympics at Edwards Airforce Base, he flew on an American Airlines Aerial Tour over the U.S. Capital in 1965, and he competed in bowling leagues all of his adult life. John loved art; he had one of his art creations published for use by a non profit organization.
Dance and music have always been important to John; he played the harmonica, drums and guitar, even composting impromptu songs of worship.
Taking life one season at a time, John’s legacy remains an example of a life loved and truly enjoyed. John is survived by his devoted mother, Connie, four loving sisters: Cynthia, Sandra, Anna, and Katherine, and many nieces and nephews. ~
~A Memorial for John will be held Saturday, December 9th, at 11:00am at Grace Chapel, where John attended Sunday School for many years.~
