Obituary for Isaac Trujillo----
On the evening of November 19th, 2015 at 8:33 p.m. Isaac Trujillo passed peacefully at home surrounded by his immediate family. Isaac was 91 years old and suffered at length with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia during his final years of his life. He was born in Las Cruses, New Mexico on June 3rd, 1924. His final residence was in Lancaster, Ca. with his youngest daughter and son-in-law.
He is survived by his second wife, Blanca Trujillo, his step daughter, Doris Garcia. He’s also survived by the legacy he created with his first wife, Eva Trujillo (Hernandez), together proudly bringing in to this world, 9 children; Grace, Rachel, Beatrice, Alfred, Isaac Jr., Lydia, Christina, George and Yolanda with their spouses and families which have blessed him with 26 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, 1 step grandson and 1 step great- granddaughter.
Isaac was a family man at all times. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved the occasional trip to Vegas, playing Bingo, dancing, dancing and more dancing. He loved making homemade menudo, popcorn, making beer runs on his scooter and all his animals which ranged from chickens and turtles to his dog and pony. He loved talking with his family and telling stories of his past. He especially loved teasing all his family members out of love, scaring kids at Halloween and swore that duct tape, was the save all tool for everything!
Isaac lived a long, full life and will be remembered as a family man, a wonderful grandfather, a hardworking concrete finisher and a World War II Veteran. Isaac Trujillo was a lifetime Moose Lodge member and will be remembered by all, for his kindness, silliness, and especially his caring, loving, and gentle heart.
