Gary Marlin Yother

On April 11, 2024, Gary M. Yother, age 69, of Littlerock, California, peacefully passed away at a local hospital, surrounded by friends.  Born on March 1, 1955, in Chattanooga, TN, to Ross and Ruth Yother.  A proud graduate of Red Bank High School, class of ’74.  Gary was one of a kind.  He was loved by many and respected in his profession as a Master Farrier and equine chiropractor.  He was a kind and sensitive man and loved all of God’s creatures and nature.  He was generous with his time, advice, love and was a steady friend.  He was patient, funny, warm and sensitive.  He was always there when you needed him and had a gentle spirit.  He loved the Lord more than life and is now safe on the lawn of Heaven, where he always wanted to be.  God will rest him now.  

He is survived by his son, Toby W. Yother, his 2 grandchildren, his Uncle Arthur Yother, Aunts Annabell Hatfield and June Yother,  his nephews, Johnny and Scott C. Yother, niece Misty Smith, first cousins- Jerry Yother, Larry Yother and Ronnie Yother, dear friends- David Laxton, Fran McDowell, Jeannie Hults, Christy Kail, Anton and Joni Martin.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Ruth Yother, as well as his brothers Ray and Dwight Yother.
