March 25,1943-January 2, 2024, born in Lawton, Oklahoma. His father was in the Air Force. Some of Dave's fondest memories were when his father was stationed in Guam. Dave moved with his family to the Antelope Valley in 1957. He graduated from Palmdale High School and received his Associate of Arts degree from Antelope Valley Community College and his Bachelor's degree from the University of Redlands. Dave was employed in aerospace working as a structural mechanic and industrial engineer. He was employed by McDonnell Douglas on the A-4 Skyhawk, Rockwell International, Northrop Grumman, and Boeing over the course of his 43-year career. He was involved with Indian Guides and Boy Scouts with his son Shane. He was a member of the Rockwell/Boeing Management Club and a board member of White Fence Farms Water Company. Upon being diagnosed with Vascular Dementia in May of 2013, Dave insisted upon keeping a positive attitude, being active, and keeping his life with his family and friends as normal as possible. He was very courageous in his battle with dementia. Dave is survived by his wife Becky, son Shane, sisters Patricia Kay and Kandy, brothers-in-law Joe and Jim, his Aunt Frances, nephews Oliver, Norris, Mike, Ellery, and Benjamin, and nieces Charla, Chelsea, Elliotte, Roux, and Melanie.
