Daniel Allen

Daniel Jay Allen Junior was born October 6th, 1957 in San Diego Ca to Daniel Jay Allen Sr. and Donna Rae Allen. He lived the majority of his life in the Antelope Valley where he attended Quartz Hill High School. Shortly after he enlisted in the Marine Corp where he became a combat engineer. Once out of the Marines, for a short time Daniel worked doing attic installation. He inevitability entered into the aerospace trade where he became a sheet metal mechanic working for companies such as Rockwell, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. One job he took pride in was working on the B2 bomber. He loved his occupation and he love Airplanes. He finished out his career at ComAv as a crew supervisor.
Daniel also loved anything with a motor, cars planes and especially motorcycles. As a young boy he would often get into trouble for sneaking out of the house while his parents were at work to ride his ATC. He even taught his beloved beagle to ride with him. He bestowed this love of riding onto his daughters and grandchildren. Camping was also one of his favorite things to do with his family. It didn’t matter where, whether it be the beach the desert or the mountains, any place that brought his family together with little distraction from being together made his heart full. Danny also love to cook but especially barbecue. He would watch cooking shows and say “I can do it better” and he was never wrong. When it came to passing the torch to his children for holiday or nostalgic meals he had a hard time letting go because his way was the best and only way, he wasn’t wrong then either.

On August 6th, 2022 Daniel was diagnosed with cancer of the tongue and throat. Doctors offered multiple life altering surgeries, Danny never batted an eye to say “bring it on”. He fought hard and fearlessly to battle the disease. No matter what was placed in front of him, he knew His heavenly father was behind him to help him along the journey. His faith in the lord reigns strong and loud in our hearts. His famous words were “don’t be scared for me I know where I am going when its my time, so make sure your heart is right so you can meet me there when its yours”.

Daniel leaves behind his wife Karen Allen whom he married June 11, 1983. She stood by his side until October 26th 2023 when Daniel went home to be with his heavenly father, his two daughters Nicole Foster and Meagan Allen, five grandchildren: Keith Edward Foster Jr., Maverik Jay Foster, Alijah MaeAnn Foster, Brynn Sage MacCarthy, and Rayven Tynan MacCarthy, two sisters Robyn Rizza, Dee Augustine, Brother Dennis Allen, foster brother Carl Ridgeway as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
