Ashley Paige Valenzuela

November 18, 2003 — March 9, 2024

Lancaster, CA

On March 9, 2024, Ashley Paige Valenzuela went into God’s loving hands.

Ashley was born November 18, 2003 at Henry Mayo Hospital in Santa Clarita. She lived in Lancaster for most of her 20 short years and loved playing at all the local parks.

Ashley loved the beach, especially her favorite, Pismo Beach. She also loved to swim and boogie board at Zuma Beach with her siblings, and recently experienced the joy of sharing her love of the beach with her niece, Madisyn.

Her trips to visit family in Oregon were some of her favorite travels. At Grandma Lucille’s she loved to watch the deer, wild turkeys, and possum. She loved the sound of the rain on the roof, walking in the thick pine trees, and helping her grandma with her plants.

Ashley always had a way with children, who just naturally seemed to love her. Above all, she was most devoted to her nephews and niece.

Even as a little girl, Ashley was the first one to strike a pose for the camera. She was extremely photogenic and her true beauty shone through in photos. Ashley also loved to cook for her family: BBQ chicken, Kiki’s potato salad, and chocolate cookies were her specialties.

Ashley attended Desert View Elementary School, Piute Middle School, and Learning for Life for her high school credits. Ashley also enjoyed attending training at Genesis Gymnastics.

Family and friends will miss her beautiful smile, contagious giggle, loving-kindness, and generosity. Ashley is survived by her parents, Chad Valenzuela and Julia Hall; her siblings Elyssia Valenzuela Bennett (Darryl Bennett), Chad Valenzuela, and David Valenzuela; her paternal grandparents Michael and Karen Valenzuela, and her maternal grandparents Gary and Debbie Carnahan. She is also survived by her uncle, Dustin Valenzuela; and her nephews and niece, Landon, Niko, and Madisyn Bennett.

Ashley was a gentle soul who loved to help others.
