Born June 22, 1932 Died October 24,2019

Parents were Domenico & Sarah Savarino, born in Oklahoma City, Ok. then moved with family to California brothers were Phillip, Henry with 3 sisters Florence, Floda, an Florine all have past. Paul was married had 2 sons then was divorced past both sons to be raised by grandparents & family. Domenico is married has 2 kids & 2 granddaughters whom he loved very much. David also married has wife & child will be joining him soon.

Paul had grade school education, when war came in the 50’s he joined at age 17 went to Korea was injured during the had severe case of frost bite to right foot lost part of it. His idea was don’t complain about life instead find what you can do, an do it too your best. Worked many jobs main one was the post office he did so well he retired there. Was disabled, unable too work still made sure too keep close contact with kids. He enjoyed life used many tools to get through life from a cane to walker, last a scooter did not stop him from doing what he liked. Went to museums, both car & plane & war museums, he enjoyed going out to the mall an looking at life. Family’s with kids getting out, enjoying family time.

Things I learned from him is life is short, no guarantees about tomorrow, so grab today and do everything you can. Remember don’t worry about what you can’t do an do the very best at what you can. Family is always important stay in touch even if it is only by the phone.

His last thoughts were simple if I go too sleep an don’t wake up, I will go too heaven an be with Grandma & Grandpa and my brothers an sisters. I will remember this forever.

Love forever your sons & family

A time to live; a time to cry. A time to remember; a time to smile. They teach and we carry forward and build on their love for us. They are not gone, but are as close as our hearts. . .always watching. . .always believing in us. . .always defending us before our Lord and our God. They ask of us to tell their story and to always be grateful for the few days they were able to stay with us. Do not worry for them; they are happy and preparing the way for us to be together again. Goodness knows the promises He left (then) and still gives us now ARE SURE. I not only believe that; I'm counting on it. We love them . . . forever.

Paul was a very lucky man to have a son like Dominico. Paul lived with Dominico and Patti for a long time and when he moved out, Dominico visited him regularly and cared for him deeply. My sincere condolences. Paul is now in heaven, looking down with great pride at the man you have become. Dominico. Be proud of the care and love you and Patti have shown him thru the years. Paul can rest in peace now. Sincerely, Ed and Linda Webster
