Margie Apodaca Garcia

Born on June 21, 1931 in San Elizario, Texas, was called home on Thursday February 10, 2022 in Lancaster, California, at the tender age of 90 years old. She lived quite a life full of love, hardships and laughter when needed. She had a legacy of always being prepared, taking care of others when they came to see her and praying for all who came across her path. She loved listening and dancing to her favorite music Cumbias, Rancheras, Tejano, Vincente Fernandez and Los Tigres de Norte. She had a love for the Virgin Mary and prayed the rosary daily. She is survived by her three siblings Blaza Segura, Mariaelena Gonzalez and Eduardo Apodaca and her six children Henry Garcia, Joe Garcia (Yvonne), Armida Flesher (Ricky), Edel Lamarre (Rick), Naomi Garcia, and Nanette Standley (Steven). She was blessed with 23 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Garcia and grandsons John Garcia, Christopher Garcia, Cory Garcia and Camden Standley. Her great grandson Emmanuel Garcia and her great great granddaughter Adeline Rood. The family would like to thank Caremark Healthcare Hospice staff Carla, Tara and Zuma.
