Obituary

Obituary for LELIA MAE WASHINGTON

Miss Lelia Mae Washington, daughter of the late Mozella Davis and Carey Henderson, was born on December 21st, 1928 in Albany, Georgia. Early in life she confesses her faith with God. She was united in holy matrimony to Emmett M. Washington Jr. on August 25th, 1958 and they were to unite with two children, Monika Washington and Joeshep Henderson. She was a member of Growing Valley Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend. We forte for thirty-year missionary, Treasure. She moved to California City, where she became a member of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor James Fuller and later Pastor Divid Mckinney. On April 25th, 2020, she was called home to be with her Lord and Savior.
She leaves her memories, one son, one daughter, and a host of nieces and nephews.
