JAMES BUSBEE

BUSBEE, James Marion

Loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away in Lancaster, Calif. on May 11, 2022, at age 89. An Air Force veteran in Strategic Air Command, he served 12 years as a radio and crypto operator during the Cold War. He retired as a facility officer for the FAA and spent many years at the L.A. center as controller, supervisor, staff, and his legacy, air traffic manager for training. He also worked for the FAA in Oklahoma City and Washington, D.C. After retirement, he operated his own business, Lawnmaster.

He was predeceased by Audrey his wife of 66 years and leaves behind his children John Busbee and Debi Patrick (Keith), grandchildren Levi Patrick, Lacey White, and Lisa Patrick and great-grandchildren Valerie, Ruby, and Orvind, and many other friends and family.

Services are on May 23, 2022. Viewing at 9:30 a.m. - noon at Halley Olsen Lancaster. Service at 1:00 p.m. at Resurrection Lutheran, 44217 55th St. W. Quartz Hill. Flowers to Halley Olsen.
