EDWARD LATORRE

Edward Pastor Latorre
1972-2020
Edward Pastor Latorre—A mentor to many and a friend to all—peacefully passed July 29, 2020 while adored by his loving wife and four children. He was 48 years old.
Born April 11, 1972 in Panorama City to George Luis Latorre and Rosemarie Latorre. He is survived by his wife Michelle, his mother Rosemarie, his children Amber, Eddie, Pricilla, and Isabella, his sisters Liz, Debbie and Anna, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Alemany High School in 1990 and was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps.
Edward Latorre, otherwise known as Eddie, was a giver, a lover, a fighter and the glue to his family. He loved hard and had a love for his family that cannot be compared to. Eddie did everything he was supposed to do with the time he had here on earth. He was an unbelievable husband, a great son, an amazing father, a caring brother, a protective uncle and a loving friend. He was a hard worker, the life of the party and in short a force to be reckoned with. Eddie lived life to the fullest to the point where when many of us think of the phrase YOLO or you only live once he’s who we picture, every time. He was so stubborn but he lived everyday like it was his last all the way to the end.
Things were not always easy for Eddie but his faith was always bigger than his problems; he always saw the good when most people would have focused on the bad. He was a teacher. He taught people more than he could have imagined.
Eddie will be remembered by his wildly entertaining stories, his powerful testimony, his unfailing work ethic, his generous heart but mostly by his contagious smile.
His memory will be cherished and his legacy will continue to live on through his survived family and friends.
His family would like to say thank you to everyone for honoring Eddie, for the pictures that have been resurfacing, the kind words being shared and for the memories they have all been able to reminisce on.
In lieu of Flowers any contributions should be directed to and graciously accepted by the the family and the bereaved wife of Mr. Edward Latorre, Michelle.
A Viewing will be available on Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 3-5 p.m. with a Service to follow from 5-6 p.m. at 44831 North Cedar Avenue in Lancaster, California.
