Anita Karen Molino age 59, passed away April 1st, 2019 at home in Palmdale, Ca. She was born April 10, 1959 in Melbourne, Florida. She was a member of Joshua Tree Council with Girls Scouts of America, an active member of the Alpha Charter Guild, and a member of St. Junipero Serra Parish in Lancaster, Ca. Anita worked with the Antelope Valley High School District for over 20 years and the Eastside Union Elementary School District as the Director of Child Nutrition for 10 years, where she retired in July of 2018.
On December 2, 1978 Anita married the love of her life Eugene Molino in Lancaster, Ca. For 40 years Gene and Anita filled their lives with love and laughter. They were blessed with welcoming three beautiful daughters. As their girls grew they enjoyed watching them take part in years of dance recitals, camping trips and volunteer events with Girl Scouts, Quartz Hill High School cheerleading, QHHS ASB activities, and The Alpha Charter Guild Debutante program.
Anita will be remembered as a pillar of light in the community who considered everyone she met a part of her family. As a member of the Antelope Valley for over 50 years, she was cherished and loved by everyone and loved being a part of this valley, but hated the heat.
Anita is survived in death by her husband, Eugene Molino; daughters, Michelle Voyles, Jennifer Williams and Emily Molino; grandchildren, Anthony, Kaylee, Wyatt, McKenna and Walker; Father, Walter Schmitt; Siblings, Marie Nestlerode, Ronald Schmitt, and Janice Dudley. She also leaves a host of other loved ones including nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and colleagues who will cherish her memories
Celebration of life services include funeral mass at St. Junipero Serra Parish in Lancaster, Ca on April 8th at 11am. Interment services will follow at the Good Shepherd Cemetery at 1pm.

She took so much pride and joy in teaching children of all ages nutrition and culinary skills. The mission of this organization falls directly in line with her passion and will allow for her memory to further the nutritional education of children across the country.
